This golf course, built by Donald Steel in 1988, has definitely been a great feature of the Links. This place impresses with its wonderful views of the sea. Small greens and rough fairways, making the game varied but not very difficult.
The GOLF DEL SUR course in Tenerife, inaugurated in 1987, with a professional tournament, has since been the scene of several competitions of the highest international level. In 1989, 1992, 1993 and 1994 it hosted the Tenerife Open, belonging to the PGA European Volvo Tour, with victories by José Maria Olazábal in its first two editions and by David Gilford and Mark James, in the following years. In 1995, Golf del Sur hosted the Shell Wonderful World of Golf tournament, in which Ernie Els and Phil Mickelson faced each other.
